When I am outside the office, I typically spend most of my time with my family and friends watching sports or spending time on the water. My favorite part of being with State Farm is being able to help State Farm customers exceed their insurance needs while developing long-lasting insurance relationships.

Outside of work, I have a passion for travel. The experiences and memories made during traveling are like no other as they give you a sense of different cultures and lifestyles and I can’t wait for my next journey.
I earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbus State University (Columbus, GA) and a Bachelor’s Degree from West Georgia University in Carrollton, GA.

Hello! I have been a part of the Tyler Hood State Farm team since March of 2024. I was born in Maryland but raised down here in Georgia. I am a graduate of Georgia Southern University where I received a Bachelors in Multimedia Journalism. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, whether that be on the golf course, at the ballpark, or even at home watching movies or sports. I also have a passion for cooking, with Italian dishes being my favorite, and seafood at a close second. My favorite part of being with State Farm is being able to help people with their insurance needs, and I look forward to meeting and working with many new State Farm Customers!

Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family, keeping fit, and hanging out with my menagerie of pets. Spending time in nature is where I recharge, so you can pretty much find me hiking through the woods in state or national parks most weekends. If just wanting to unwind, I have been known to binge watch the occasional Netflix series. I have a fine arts degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta and dabble in illustration. I hope to publish a line of children’s books someday, a lifelong aspiration.
